This thread is just for teams to state where they are on their projects and any other plans for the future.

You can post samples of writings or art in this too.

I still see my team every day, or at least every other day.
Exchanging some sort of contact information helps stay together I'd say.

I know I got a lot of stuff going on with Uni atm.

But I'm incorporating stuff I'm doing here with a writing module, so that'll help.

The main thing is keeping everyone else motivated and interested, as soon as we get people who are making content. That should make the others more likely to get making.

Also another thread on /co/ won't hurt, especially if we can show what we've done.

Threads on /co/ will happen when we pull out some pages. This last week I've been a bit swamped, but I'm hoping to dish out some artwork right quick now that that my college work is out of the way.

College started for me. I won't be as active as I was about a week ago, but I'm working on some stuff for the project. Homework and studying comes first, of course.

We can't lose faith, folks. Things'll be slow at first, like they are now, but we can pull through.

I'm still in this too! This past week has just been insane for me with university classes and whatnot, but I'll have more time to get some writing done now that it's passed.

I've been busy with life and all. Been trying to get my ducks in a row.

On the plus side, I made root beer flavored ice cream, so there's that.

    Dude, tell me how.
I'll eat it while writing stories for the project, and it will give me power.

I'll eat it while writing stories for the project, and it will give me power.

    2 1/2 cups heavy cream
    1 1/2 cups milk
    8 egg yolks
    1 cup sugar
2 tbsp root beer extract (I got mine at the local Walmart.)

Mix together sugar, egg yolks, and root beer extract thoroughly. In pot large enough to hold the liquid, heat the milk/cream mixture until it starts to bubble around the edges. (Be sure to keep it moving, lest you scorch your dairy. Can't have that.)

Once the dairy is heated, slowly mix the dairy into the eggs, in small portions so as to temper the yolks. Don't mix in all of the liquid. About half will do, but not all at once.

Once the eggs are tempered, transfer it all back into the pot, and cook on low heat, constantly stirring, until the mixture thickens up enough to thoroughly coat the back of a spoon.

Once thickened, transfer to a sealable container and chill overnight. Then freeze in a churn or in a bag that is inside another bag which is filled with ice and salt. Whichever freezing method is convenient or preferred.

Also, it's technically a frozen custard, but it's still pretty tasty.

Also also, the recipe's pretty modular, just replace the root beer extract with something like caramel extract or cocoa powder to get different flavors.
