I couldn't think of anything for anyone else.

We're basically just brainstorming.
Sharing ideas for character designs and stories and whatnot and trying to flesh everything out.

Yeah, I don't think a dystopian setting would work for us.Turtle wrote:Wanna do something with a dystopian setting? Dystopias are pretty cool. That might be a lot though....
Thinking about it now, lighthearted is probably the best choice.SteveWhatever wrote:Yeah, I don't think a dystopian setting would work for us.Turtle wrote:Wanna do something with a dystopian setting? Dystopias are pretty cool. That might be a lot though....
I don't know about you guys, but I always envisioned this as (at first, anyway) a lighthearted comic. Not taking itself too seriously or about being extreme and bloody. More like a classic comic book that anybody could enjoy.
But, again, that's just me. If anybody else viewed it any differently, let me know.
Only because a dystopian society would require explanation and really limit every team's creative possibilities.Turtle wrote:Thinking about it now, lighthearted is probably the best choice.

Well, lets take this a step at a time.
We are the Fantastisquad.
Why did we gather as a team of possible 'heroes' in the first place? (Are we even 'heroes'?) How did we meet? What are our prime motivations as individuals? As a team?
And then, who or what is opposing/restricting us from reaching our goals?

Sure is writer's block. Took me about an hour to write this.
Look at these gaia-tier smilies.
I think I'm gonna make one of those idea-web thingies to get the creative juices flowin'.

Alright that would be hard to pull off.

No worries - we can always distopiate the shit out of our city later.
Maybe a cheery dystopia could be achieved by having utter shit government, but a society too stupid to generally realize it?Vanhi wrote:SteveWhatever wrote:

As in, we become the government of our city and somehow it spirals downward into dystopia because of horribad governing skills? Or bad guys take over?
Ideas!
